Callaway has a number of activities for guests including bike rentals and bike trails, golf, fishing, a ropes course, and a daily birds of prey show! More information can be found on their website.
If birds of prey isn't your vibe, there's also a spa at the resort and pools available for lodge, cottage and villa guests.
Only a thirty minute drive from Callaway is the Little White House historic site in Warm Springs, GA.
Georgia's largest state park offers 40+ miles of hiking trails and lots of scenic views.
There are several restaurants at Callaway, as well as a few in Pine Mountain. There is also a small grocery store in Pine Mountain. If you are staying in a cottage or villa, you will have a full kitchen and full size refrigerator. We recommend stopping at a larger grocery store on your way in for groceries if you plan to cook. LaGrange is about 25 minutes from Pine Mountain via car and Columbus, Georgia is about 45 minutes. Both of these cities are larger and have more grocery (and dining) options.
